Bevin West (she/her) is a semi-feral reader and editor from Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Georgia, has earned the Poynter ACES Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced Certificates in Editing from the Poynter Institute, and is a proud member of ACES: The Society for Editing.

A lifelong reader, Bevin has spent the last two years writing book reviews for her social media pages with a focus on independent authors in the fantasy, science fiction, and romance genres. As an avid participant in the bookish community, Bevin has completed hundreds of advance reads (ARC reads) for dozens of authors. As such, she has seen firsthand the importance of making quality editing more widely available.

Bevin offers a range of services, including developmental editing, line/copyediting, and proofreading. Her editing expertise is in fiction, particularly science fiction and fantasy, but she also has experience editing nonfiction content, including instructional and educational materials.
